This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have when you use MRS: PDF Editor App ("the app", "we", "us", "our"). The app is rated 4+ and is designed for users of all ages.

1. Information We Collect

We aim to collect as little information as possible. The categories below cover everything the app may process:

• Usage analytics — anonymous events such as screen views, feature taps and crashes, used to understand how the app is used and fix bugs.
• Device identifier — a pseudonymous identifier provided by iOS that helps us distinguish one device from another without identifying you personally.
• Subscription status — whether you currently hold an active subscription, to unlock Pro features on your device.

2. Documents & Scans

Your documents, scans and PDFs stay on your device. We do not upload, copy or permanently store the content of your documents on our servers. When you share a PDF, the file is sent through the standard iOS share sheet to the recipient or app you choose — it does not pass through us.

3. How We Use Information

• To operate, maintain and improve the app's features.
• To diagnose crashes and technical problems.
• To verify your subscription status and deliver Pro features.
• To respond to support requests you send us.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of trusted third parties to run the app:

• Apple — for app distribution, in-app purchases and subscription billing. Purchase data is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy terms.
• Analytics providers — to receive anonymous usage and crash data so we can improve stability and performance.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

5. Legal Basis (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your data on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and improving the app, and to perform the subscription contract when you purchase Pro. 6. Your California Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, to request deletion of your personal information and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Children's Privacy

The app is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Data Retention & Security

We keep analytics data only as long as needed to improve the app, then delete or anonymize it. We use industry-standard safeguards to protect the limited information we do hold.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, highlight the update inside the app.
